Desde Sao Paulo hacia las playas en la costa Atlántica, es necesario atravesar bellos paisajes de sierras y la famosa "Mata Atlantica". La selva (mata) Atlántica originalmente recorria todo el litoral de Brazil, de Norte a Sur. Actualmente solo queda un 5% de su extensión original. El árbol más importante de esta selva era el Pau- Brasil, que le dio el nombre al pais. Existen muchas organizaciones que se están ocupando de la recuperación y protección de la Mata Atlantica.
From Sao Paulo to the beaches in the Atlantic coast, it is necessary to pass beautiful sights of mountains and the famous "Atlantic Forest" (Mata Atlántica).
