MERCADOS - MARKETS

LIBERDADE

Sweet pastries with black beans paste.

Hundreds of people in Liberdade streets.

Kebabs

Liberdade is the Japanese-town in Sao Paulo. Is very similar to the sensation of been in Chinatown in New York, except that is a Japanese-town. On Saturdays and Sundays, there is a special street market, that is one of the best places to eat in the street that I ever try. They have a lot of options and everything is under 2 dollars. We try new things like: cod balls, sweet pastry with black paste inside. A truly trans-cultural experience!
